“My mother moved into Bluebells in March from her own home. I have been delighted with the care and attention she has received and have not seen her so happy for a long time.
She was lonely at home, but the staff at the home are so creative, that she is active most of the day!
The outdoor garden is amazing, as is the seaside lounge and all the activities they do for those with dementia, from skittles to balloon volleyball, from singing to darts (soft darts!).
My mother likes to help, and the staff also involve her in day-to-day activities such as watering the plants and clearing the table, which makes her happy. Her speech has improved since going to the home, and she laughs all the time.
It is a fantastic place!

“In the two months, my grandfather has been at St Martins, I have been extremely impressed with all aspects of the care he is receiving. The staff have kept me informed at all times, and have helped him adjust to the new surroundings well.
At such a difficult time, it’s a great comfort knowing he is in such good hands.
I’m not surprised it came highly recommended by a friend.”
